About this role
The Site Lead Electrical and Sustainability Engineer is responsible for the ownership and operational management of electrical distribution systems. You will be a key stakeholder in the development of the site infrastructure and supporting Energy Management and the aim to drive towards Carbon Neutrality for Site.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and own the site electrical distribution system ensuring all regulatory standards are met at adhered to.

- Support and lead the development of both site asset registers and Preventative PM programs for the assets under the care of the role.
- Implementing the highest engineering standards to ensure safety, BCP and compliance on electrical infrastructure.
- Manage studies into the potential effects of Harmonics and other electrical interference to the site distribution system from renewable energy supplies.
- Ability to support the design of electrical systems as part of support to an integrated project team.
- Support the site management of the site-wide electrical distribution system and load sharing.
- Ensure compliance to all of the relevant national and European standards for Electrical Distribution systems and associated infrastructure.
- Prepare and modify Electrical Drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs.
- Provide hands-on experience to troubleshoot any electrical issues as required.
- Provide support if needed to the supervision and co-ordination of equipment installations.
- Support the maintenance of critical electrical supply systems including generator backup and UPS systems.
- Lead site team in planning, scheduling and executing electrical shutdowns.
- Deliver Sustainability Health for Humanity Goals.
- Prioritize projects/tasks in line with Customer service requirements & strategy Engineering objectives.
- Act as voice of the customer.

Qualifications
Essential:
- 5+ year’s experience in Electrical Engineering
- Strong Operation and maintenance experience in a regulated industry.
- Experience in operation in ATEX environment.
- Maintenance and Operations experience within Med tech/Pharma /Oil &Gas; industry with equivalent GMP environment.
- Medium Voltage operator experience.

Desirable:
- Track Record in people leadership and development
- Asset management experience in the Pharma or Health Care Industries.
- Management experience in Utilities and Facilities Functions.
- Operational experience of BMS
- Other skills and competencies:
- A thorough knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques

Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to the segment in the performance of audits or audit related activities.
- Serve as company representative during regulatory inspections, including support activities such as actively and directly interacting with inspectors/auditors, obtaining required information, and assisting with corrective action and/or remediation plans, as necessary.
- Provide regulatory assessments of internal/external audit findings. Review/monitor correction, corrective, preventive, and effectiveness actions.
- Promote a culture of proactive compliance to regulations, standards, and procedures and risk management throughout the organization.
- Develop and maintain key quality and compliance performance metrics. Participate in developing and presenting departmental materials for Management Review and other leadership forums.

Qualifications
Education:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree required in a scientific or engineering discipline or equivalent field
- Certifications preferred in ASQ-CQA, CQE or SCQE, ISO Lead Assessor, and/or RAC

Experience and Skills
Required:
- Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience
- Experience working in a quality assurance / compliance audit environment
- Experienced auditor in a Quality regulated environment
- Strong knowledge, understanding and application of audit principles, concepts and practices related to quality system regulated by domestic and foreign governments
- Experience managing and implementing robust Corrective and Preventive Action Systems
- Strong communication, organizational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence change
- Advanced English & Swedish Language

Preferred:
- Experience managing External Regulatory/Notified Body Inspections (e.g., FDA, ANVISA, PMDA, BSI, etc.)
- Understanding and knowledge of a broad set of regulations and standards (e.g., 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, EU MDD/MDR, MDSAP, etc.)

Other:
- Requires up to 10% travel, domestic and international

The team supports the site and production with short term and long term technical solutions for components, products and processes. Have experience and interest of working with management and maintenance of existing systems, implementation of new automation systems and complex problem solving. You will also be involved in projects regarding new equipment and systems.

Objectives of the Position
- Define automation requirements and review automation design specifications
- Be a part of validation and qualification of automation systems.
- Initiate and lead change control activities.
- Participate in defining the automation strategy.
- Management and maintenance of existing automation systems
- Act as the SME for automation systems within the manufacturing site.
- Interacts with MLL (Manufacture Lab Logistics) system owners to problem-solve future-state requirements and strategy.
Act as the OT Cyber Security Lead for the site ensuring that global J&J requirements are met in the site.
- Serves as source of functional understanding of processes, tools, and integration of plant equipment with application platforms (e.g., Wonderware, WinCC Siemens, CodeSys, Rockwell, Cognex, Seidernader, SCADA), as well as MLL

Qualifications
- Master of Science degree or Bachelor´s degree in an Automation Engineering related field (required).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within life science industry (preferred).
- Experience from working with automated equipment (e.g., Robots, Servo motors)(preferred).
- Experience from Computerized Systems Validation (preferred)
- Programming knowledge on industry controls applications and SCADA systems (Rockwell, Wonderware, Elau, CodeSys), Vision software (Cognex, Seidenader, Keyence), computer coding ( Phython, ), IOT software and other industrial supporting applications.(preferred)
- Professional level in English (required). Professional level in Swedish (merit).
